Though it tarry, wait for it

Though it tarries, wait for it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time
but at the end it shall speak and not lie
it will be fulfilled
Though it tarry and seems slow in coming

Wait patiently for it
Because it will surely come
It will not tarry, it will not be delayed
Habakkuk 2:3

As you wait, remember the importance of unwavering faith and trust. Remember the prophets and how they waited, consider the lives of Zechariah, Abraham, Noah, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Job, Paul, Nehemiah, Ester, Ruth, Mary….consider their lives and their faith as they trusted the Lord.

Make sure, that during this time, your faith is not like wave tossed at sea –believing and praising in one moment, then doubting and worrying the next. The Lord has chosen you and He delights in you. You must fix your thoughts and Cling to the Lord , His Word, and His Promises.

Though it seems slow in coming, wait, it will surely come.

even if someone told you about it. Hab 1:5

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
