“These are the nations which the Lord left, that He might test Israel” Judges 3 Are you being tested?

“these are the nations which the Lord left, that He might test Israel” Judges 3

When I read this  verse in Judges, I thought NO! That’s horrible, no more testing! They need a break, but wait….  He did this to teach warfare to generations of Israelites who had no experience in battle. In  the wilderness, the tests and trials they experienced were to refine them, to humble them, to know what was in their heart, to see if they loved the Lord with all their heart and whether they would keep His commandments. Deuteronomy 8:2  Deuteronomy 13:3Judges 2:22

The people of Israel finally reached their promised land after wandering for 40 years but God did not destroy all their enemies.  The Lord left Israel’s enemies so that they might be tested. I couldn’t believe it when I read it, why!? They experienced plagues, death, sword, leprosy, sickness, they even saw those who rebelled be swallowed up by the ground. Finally – they reached the promise land, the promise given to Abraham but their testing and proving still was not completed. You’d think, phew! Finally! They made it, but they were still not at their final destination, they needed more testing in order teach the next generation.

 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.  Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.1 Peter 4:12-13

HE RIDES ACROSS THE HEAVENS TO HELP YOU

Even in all Israel’s trials, God always wanted them to know how much He loved them. This same truth is for you today, He wants you to know that He loves you and He has always loved you. His thoughts for you outnumber the sands on  the shore, He loves you with an everlasting love. Isaiah 40:30 tells us that those who wait on the Lord (that means to reach out to Him/trust) will renew their strength, mount with eagle wings, run and not be weary, walk and not be faint. He is your source of strength. Reach out to Him. “ Indeed He loves His people, His holy ones are in His hands” Dt 33:3 and also “He will never leave you nor forsake you” Dt 31:8. Jesus said “and lo, I am with your always, even until the end of this age”

 Who rides the heavens to help you,And in His excellency on the clouds Dt 33

  To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old!Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice.ps 68:33

Even though the people of Israel endured many trials and still had much more ahead, they knew the Lord was with them. We know the Lord doesn’t change, He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He still rides the heavens to help you.  Every time the people cried out to the Lord, He came to help them.  They cried out to the Lord 50X

We, like the Israelites in the wilderness, look forward to our heavenly country

Hebrews 11:10, 13-16 :  Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God……. All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth.14 Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. 15 If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. 16 But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

As I read the verse above, I wonder if the walk of the Israelites through the wilderness to the promised land represents our walk on this earth as we journey to our promised land. Just as Israel reached their promised land, so we have received our promise but our enemies are still here – just as they were with Israel. Jesus defeated death, He made a way for us but we still have much work do to. We are told we wage an invisible war, we are soldiers of the cross not to be entangled with the things of this world.  We embrace these promises as we walk as strangers and pilgrims on this earth.We, like the Israelites, are headed to the promise, our heavenly country. We, like them, will die in faith seeing this promise afar off. We don’t see the heavens, we don’t see eternity just as Israel didn’t see the promise, but they knew it was ahead- it was in their heart. We know that there is a heavenly country ahead that we journey to also. Maybe the walk of the Israelites is symbolic of our walk today.  Yet, we are also told that as we walk here, we are citizens with the saints and members of the household of God because of Christ Jesus.  Even on this journey, the Lord is with us just as He was with Israel as they walked. (Eph 2:19)

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,  having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.1 Peter 1:11-12

In Ecclesiastics 3, King Solomon wrote that everything has it’s time

 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

How do we handle life during seasons of testing?

  1. Cry out to Him
  2. Patiently Endure
  3. Reach out to Him and He will help you Isaiah
  4. Don’t give up
  5. Put on the Armor of God- we don’t fight flesh and blood, but the unseen
  6. Rejoice and Count it all Joy (it develops great endurance)

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and then there are other times when God brings peace and lets you rest for a while. It’s good to know that in whatever circumstance you are in, God is always there for you. Have you cried out to Him? Are you too overwhelmed to pray? Ask someone for prayer to help you though this time.  Romans 5:3-5 tells us to rejoice in our trials, because it is during these times that we change. James 1:12-15 promises God’s blessing on those who patiently endure testing and temptation.

 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.  And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.  And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:3-4

 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. James 1:12-15

The testing of our faith produces patience and this testing refines us as silver is refined or gold is tested.

  •  Revelation 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
  • Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
  • 1 Peter 1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
  • James 1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
  • Psalm 11:4 The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.
  • Psalm 11:5 The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
  • Psalm 17:3 You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
  • Psalm 66:10 For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.
  • Zechariah 13:9I will bring the one–third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
  • 1 Corinthians 13:7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
  •   In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.  We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love.  We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense. We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors. We are ignored, even though we are well known. We live close to death, but we are still alive. We have been beaten, but we have not been killed. 10 Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything. 2 cor 6
  • James 5:11 We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy

 The great men and women in the bible had to go through testing and trials. Consider Joseph, Job, Abraham, Joshua, Moses, David, Jeremiah, the prophets, Jesus, Paul, Esther, Gideon, Elijah and many more. Every great man and woman of God endured trials.

Deuteronomy 1-12 & You must not call on the name of any other god, do not even speak their names.

I’m reading through Deuteronomy and selected a verse/s from each chapter that really caught my attention:

deuter

  1. 1:17b Don’t be afraid of anyone’s anger, for the decision you make is God’s decision. Bring me any cases that are too difficult for you, and I will handle them. This verse was for the judges. They were not to judge based on appearances, wealth or anything other than what was  right and wrong before God. Seek counsel from the Lord always. Even if others don’t agree with you, you are instructed not to be afraid of anyone’s anger or  countenance.
  2. 2:2a “Then at last the Lord said to me,  ‘You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough….. That’s it! It’s time to live in obedience. Time to stop rebelling, complaining and running to other gods and/or man for our our needs. Time to stop wandering and walk in step with the Holy Spirit, walking with the Lord.
  3. 3:22 Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the Lord your God will fight for you.’  How awesome is that? The Lord our God fights for us. It’s interesting that throughout the bible, we are repeatedly told not to worry or be afraid. We can always trust in the Lord. I remember the verse “and lo, I am with you always, even until the end of this age”
  4. 4:29a if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. Am I searching for the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind? What can I change and does anything stand in the way? Read His word daily and read to my children.4:39-40 “So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.”   If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children….The Lord is in heaven AND earth. If I live a right life pleasing to the Lord, He promises to bless my children. That’s is a great promise!
  5. 5:28b-29” I have heard what the people said to you, and they are right.  Oh, that they would always have hearts like this, that they might fear me and obey all my commands! If they did, they and their descendants would prosper forever.” The Lord wants to have a relationship with us, He wants us to have a heart that loves Him. He loves us so much that He sent His only Son, His love for us is evident every day – in good times and bad. God promises us prosperity, I believe the Lord wants the best for my children, making what is impossible for man, possible before God. I know the Lord has good plans for my children.
  6. 6:2525 For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands theLord our God has given us.’  Our faith counts us righteous before the Lord, just as Abrahams faith counted Him righteous because of his faith. It is because of Jesus Christ, the righteous servant, who made it possible for me to be counted right because He bore all my sins. That is truly amazing, humbling and awesome!
  • Romans 4:5 But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.
  • Isaiah 53:11 When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins.
  1. 7:26 Do not bring any detestable objects into your home, for then you will be destroyed, just like them. You must utterly detest such things, for they are set apart for destruction. This reminds me of a dream my daughter had 2 weeks about the Disney Frozen movie. She dreamt she was sitting in her room and Frozen book was on her bed and she had a necklace with a locket. She was putting olaf, the snowman, in the little locket she had. Suddenly she heard a voice and she said she immediately knew it was God. God said to get the Frozen book off her bed and get rid of that necklace. Take what you want from that, but it moved me to get everything Frozen related out of the house. I never liked olaf to begin with, he always scared me but everyone said he was so cute..so after this dream my daughter had, everyone agreed to get rid of everything. I didn’t know my youngest had a magic frozen game in her either, so time to clean house. Something is wrong with the minion movie too and peter pan – and all of them, I’m sure. I had a super spooky dream/vision of peter pan when I was little and never forgot it. I am pretty sure I was wide awake and saw it, but I was a kid so who knows. I remember being awake and afraid to move because he might see that I was awake and kill me, anywho enough of dreams, maybe it’s nothing but it still spooks me out.** oh and while I’m on the subject, I woke up signing uptown funk by bruno mars one morning. I usually wake up with a praise song, but this morning I was waking up singing it in my head and what is odd is the lyrics (its a part of the song where the lyrics aren’t real clear) were chanting “demons inside of us” over and over to beat. I thought that was really strange -strange enough to where I won’t listen to that song anymore.
  1. 8:3 Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. – Jesus said that! In the desert when He was tempted… wait I just read something else this morning on food..proverbs 13:24-25  The righteous eats to satisfying of his soul, but the stomach of the wicked shall be in vain….. If that doesn’t make you stop overeating, I don’t know what will.
  1. 9:23  Lord sent you out with this command: ‘Go up and take over the land I have given you.’ But you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God and refused to put your trust in him or obey him.  Yes, you have been rebelling against the Lord as long as I have known you. Do you know what this says to me? Get up! Go! Move! Trust in the Lord and SEEK His counsel in all you do (Johsua 9:14)
  1. 10:17-22  For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords. He is the great God, the mighty and awesome God, who shows no partiality and cannot be bribed.  He ensures that orphans and widows receive justice. He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing. So you, too, must show love to foreigners, for you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt.  You must fear the Lord your God and worship him and cling to him. Your oaths must be in his name alone.  He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes.  – God show’s no partiality, and we are to do the same to others.
  • Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality
  • Romans 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.
  • Ephesians 6:9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
  • Colossians 3:25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality
  • 1 Timothy 5:21I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality
  • James 2:9but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
  • James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
  • 1 Peter 1:17And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay herein fear
  1. Deut 11:18-21 “So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.  Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.  Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors.– BE committed- Set your face like flint to do His will, and know we will not be ashamed
  • Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
  • Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven

12.    12:30 Do not fall into the trap of following their (other nation and religion’s) customs and worshiping their gods. Do not inquire about their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations worship their gods? I want to follow their example.’ You must not worship the Lord your God the way the other nations worship their gods,

  • Pay close attention to all my instructions. You must not call on the name of any other god Do not even speak their names.

Not only are we not to inquire of the ways other nations worship their gods, we are not to speak the name of them. I wonder if studying the other religions, like when my daughter spent all year in History class studying the greek gods and goddesses (required class) along with their perversions. Maybe it seems likes nothing , but when you look at it as God looks at it, I think He sees that as detestable. Consider also the names of gods we use and speak and don’t realize it. Maybe calling out their name brings them into your life? The names in stories, movies, and tv shows – many are the names of the ancient gods and goddesses worshiped. The Lord makes it clear we are not to call out their name or even speak their name. Think about that and look over the lives of the youth around you – video games, books, movies, shows, they are full of the names of gods we are not to speak. Don’t call  their names. Time to go back to # 7 and get rid of every detestable thing in our houses.

Peace, I need to clean house and maybe my last post. Amen.

Cern : The New Tower of Babel, what you need to know

 Why Tower of Babel?

In Genesis 11, the people spoke the same language and the Lord said, they are united and speak the same language, now nothing they set out to do will be impossible. Today, Cern created the world wide web ,uniting people under one language again. Cern created www as a way for scientists to communicate with each other. The people of Babel wanted  to reach into the sky with their tower- or reach into the heaven. Cern also is attempting to reach into the heavens, a new dimension, in their words they are trying to “pierce the veil”. I wonder and I’m starting to believe that the people at the Tower of Babel were doing more than just building a really tall building like I’ve been taught in Sunday school . I believe they may have been trying to enter the heavens or another dimension just like Cern is trying to do. According to what I’ve read about Cern, their discoveries can lead to a dangerous release of dark matter/antimatter which is dangerous and can create confusion and chaos if it is not controlled. At present, they cannot control or contain antimatter. Here we have our third similarity with Babel- the possibility of confusion and chaos released once this veil has been pierced – into the heavenlies just as there was confusion at the Tower of Babel. Also , the Tower of Babel was the tallest building made and now CERN has made the largest machine ever made.

4-11-15 update: History channel has a show called ancient aliens and one specific series called God particle goes into detail about cern and the science, philosophy and the religion behind this. It is interesting that this study of the finding this God particle or higgs boson dates back to 5000 years ago where ancient hindu writings describe the exact study they are doing now, this knowledge was from the hindu god who today stands outside of cern. I won’t say the name, starts with sh. and it’s got extra arms. So this may be extra proof that this is what they were doing at the tower of babel- if this study was going on 5000 years ago. Einstein and other great scientists also studied these ancient hindu texts…..I think this is a link to the show God particle Ancient Aliens on disclose.tv

. Read Genesis 11:1-9 Tower of Babel

WHAT IS CERN???????

I know some are already aware of Cern and have been watching what is going on, but for the rest of you (like me), I want tell you a little about Cern.  Before I do, I want you to know that I only found out about Cern by questioning 2 dreams I had;  2 dreams and 1 vision. Recently, out of curiosity, I looked to see if any of what I saw in my dream was true and I discovered 2 things I didn’t know existed: 1- Nowruz and 2- Cern Cern is new to me, I’ve spent hours researching and reading books but I’ve only scratched the surface.

  • Cern is credited as the creator/implementer of the World Wide Web, I read that it was created as way of helping scientists communicate with each other
  • Cern is located in Switzerland and France. I have heard that they live under their own rules and are neither governed by France or Switzerland.
  • Cern is basically a well funded physics lab, but some say that below the surface that we see, there is a cult or cultish religion behind it.
  • Cern is trying to find the “God Particle” or hmmm, how shall I define this? It’s the particle that existed before the big bang, black matter, void and formless darkness
  • Cern started in 1954
  • Cern hopes to find a parallel universe with the LHC (large Hadron Collider)
  • The LHC is capable of creating black holes or worm holes and can swallow the entire earth up – but no worries because they said the chance of that is small and they are hoping to create a small one
  • Cern wants to find the glue that holds the universe together and find it in its original state- God particle- antimatter, discovered back in 1955
  • Cern is funded and backed up by the United Nations and many other Nations. US donated $536Million to cern back in 1997
  • Cern has created the largest man made machine called the LHC- Large Hadron Collider (colliding protons) . It is located 300 feet underground ( some sites say up to 500ft underground) and it runs 17 miles in a circular built tube. There are 2 major machines and then tubing, all underground
  • In the LHC, they make protons travel at almost the speed of light in opposite directions so they crash into each other. They have found that when this occurs, the blast creates new particles undiscovered. They exist for such a short span of time, a fraction of a second, that they haven’t succeded fully in their quest.
  • There are a few nay sayers and say Cern is just taking money, that this, under laws of physics cannot possibly be credible. There are very few naysayers based on physics, either that or they are silenced.
  • Dark Matter is a big issue in the process of finding the God particle. According to what I’ve seen, read and heard, this dark matter can be very dangerous and some believe it can actually bring in demonic forces. Paul Begley did a show on Cern and dark matter that explains that more thoroughly.
  • Cern also knows the chance of creating a worm hole or new portal while in this process of trying to find this new particle.
  • Steven Hawkins (a great physicist)  is against this new search and believes it could destroy the universe in one day livescience.com Hawkins higgs boson universe doomsday
  • They are trying to “pierce the veil” if they can pierce into this new particle, they believe they can not only find the God particle but possible enter a new dimension or bring another dimension here.
  • Matter v. antimatter- with matter, there is control but with antimatter, there is no control – this antimatter is what they are searching for. It is powerful, dangerous, hostile, dark matter and not visible to the eye, it has the power of 4 atomic bombs – or so I’ve heard according to interviewee Mike on Paul Begley
  • 1 gram of anti matter can destroy a continent and Cern has been trying to figure out how to control it
  • Some believe that demonic spirits live in this dark matter
  • I’ve heard and read that Steve Hawkins is absolutely against this and has told Cern to stop because he believes it can change the psyche of people
  • Cern is trying to enter another dimension of darkness in searching for the God particle
  • location location location – Cern is partially located on an ancient town named Saint Genus Poilly which is believed to be a Roman town that had a temple to Apollo- appolliacum and the people thought it was a portal to the underworld- sounds just like cern.( Read Revelation 9)
  • Scientists are looking for a doorway to  a new dimension. “Out of this door might come something, or we might send something through it,” said Sergio Bertolucci, who is Director for Research and Scientific Computing at CERN

Image result for cern logoNotice the Cern logo shows 666. Some argue that this is not true, but rather a picture of tubing the protons that run thought in the LHC. This is only partly true because the protons go through small hoops, going in from one side and then out from the othter. If you notice in logo, the loop in the background has no tubing coming out the other side. If a proton ran through that loop, it would never make it out. The other loop partly looks like one of the loops but it has two tubes coming out of one area and that is not evident in the LHC. So it’s obviously 666 and not two loops in the LHC.

This is a picture of the Large Hadron Collider located 300 feet underground and the circle runs 17 miles.

Another pic of the LHC
Okay, there’s so much more but I’ll stop here on Cern facts because I can go on and on. When I first started reading about Cern , their theories, Higgs boson, accelerators, protons, light particles, dark matter, antimatter, forces, quarks, stranglets, worm holes, dimensions – it sounded so interesting – it’s like watching a sci-fi movie but I know there is a warning on whatever is going on there.

These are the 2 dreams and 1 vision, that upon researching, led me to discover Cern (and Nowruz). I know they all tie in together and there is much more to Cern than is being revealed.  First, the Cern dance in their video is the same dance I saw in my dream called the phoenix dance ( in my dream). Also in both dream there was some kind of terrifying control almost non human over all the land. In the first dream we had to (at work) dance a required phoenix dance and song and in my second dream of Nowruz, I found that the phoenix is the original symbol of the Zoroastrian religion , the origins of Nowruz new year. The Staircase I saw in dream 2 of Nowruz is the same staircase of nations from the Zoroastrian religion, it symbolizes a future time when all the leaders of all the nations come together as one bringing gifts to their One leader, who they call the king of kings In video, the dance the workers are doing is what I saw in my dream: Dance of Destuction: Interesting that is the name of the dance, it also defines the meaning of Phoenix, and also seems to be a dance to the goddess they planted outside Cern, Shiva, the goddess of destruction. Why would they perform a dance to the goddess of destruction? Spring Equinox: Nowruz begins at the Spring Equinox and this day is an important day at Cern – the day of the Cern start up. In my first dream, all the workers had to do a dance/exercise throughout the day as we worked. They made us sing along and chant with the video and make certain moves with it. The song was called Phoenix dreams or broken dreams and we had to sing about how our dreams were broken, we are dark now from the ashes, and our dance looked as if we were dlying. We sang about the death of the past or old dreams but now we were flying.

  • I googled to search for dancing at work – and found CERN. The dance of Cern was almost the same exact dance that I remembered in my dream.

My Second dream in March of 2013 led me to discover Nowruz, an ancient Perisan, Zorastrian new year. The dream was terrifying and I saw a ritual staircase – which is part of the Nowruz tradition. It was a new year and the most powerful and elite group celebrated this as a holy, ritualistic day- their power seemed like it was not human and they performed many rituals and only the elite could participate. These people, in my dream, were called the Luciferians  and they struck terror in all people. At night the rulers stood on this great staircase for the new year ritual. Each leader stood on a different step from top to bottom.   The Phoenix is a  mythological creature that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor

  • When I searched for new year in March with a ritual staircase, I discovered Nowruz – origins of the Zoroastrian religion . The Obama’s have been celebrating this each since he’s been in office and it is recognized as a national holiday by the United Nations File:Persepolis gifts.jpg This is the staircase I saw in my dream and on each step was a powerful leader. When I looked it up, I found that it is called the staircase of nations and it’s part of their new year Nowruz history that began with an ancient Persian prophet Zoraster from 548- about the time of the captivity of Israel and Judah.  The staircase symbolizes a future time when all the leaders of all the nations come together as one bringing gifts to their One leader, who they call the king of kings. Even today, the celebration consists of gift giving in remembrance.  The Zoroastrian religion dates back to 548BC – their symbol is a Phoenix bird coming out of the fire- it is said the phoenix dies or kills itself and miraculously comes back to life from it’s own ashes. This is what we were singing about in my first dream. We had to chant that we were black from the ashes and something new was ahead and the old had been destroyed.

Thirdly, I had a vision earlier that year of the earth. As I watched, what looked to me like a giant weed or root began to cover the entire earth. I knew it came from the east and worked towards the west in growth. It had something to do with powers in the air/sky as if through internet or tv. It was wicked and grew at a rapid speed.  www.Tpuccio.wordpress.com saw something very similar to what I said, he saw it more as a web but I’m sure it was the same. GetAttachment (3) I tried to draw a picture of what I saw- the picture came out sideways…

 There are so many videos and websites on this, I don’t know what to recommend. Search for it if your interested and if not, keep a watchful eye and stay always in constant prayer, continually, in the Spirit at all times and remember that the Spirit within you is greater than he that is in the world.

 If you are not reading the bible daily, there is a good chance you have turned to the right or left and you don’t even realize it. If you don’t read God’s Word daily, continually day and night, then you will/may fall away and become prideful.

 If you are not reading, studying and/or meditating on God’s word daily and continuously then you have made a turn off God’s path somewhere in your life.

 ***I base this on scripture listed below. I know that’s a bold statement, but if you can prove me wrong with scripture, go for it….and be careful not to be prideful about your perfectness, because then you’re just shooting yourself in the foot***

 Throughout scripture we read of how important reading the Word, meditating on His Word and his works and studying His words keep us from falling away. In Deut 17:19, one of the commands to the king was that he read God’s words, decrees and commands every single day. In Joshua 1, Joshua is commanded to read continually, meditate on it day and night. In Deut 11, we are commanded to teach our children when we are at home when you are on the road, when we are going to bed and when we are getting up. We are to keep His words close to us at all times. These three verses hold the keys to living a life pleasing to God.

You may be thinking, wait a minute…. I’m not a king..and I’m not a warrior like Joshua, but wait!  He made us kings and priests to God forever (Rev 1:6) and soldiers of Jesus Christ (2 Tim 2:2-3) ,  we war in the spirit, not against flesh and blood (Eph 6:12) and we are given spiritual weapons. Weapons are not given to the bystanders, but to the warriors — like Joshua and you.

To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood,  and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Rev. 1:6

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 2 Tim 2:2-3

 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph 6:12

    PROMISES:

According to these verses and others cited below, reading God’s word DAILY:

  1. keeps us from turning to the right or the left
  2. keeps us from falling away
  3. teaches us the Fear of the Lord which is the beginning of all understanding
  4. keeps us from being disobedient to his ways
  5. keeps us from being proud and thinking we are better than others
  6. promises prosperity and success in all we do
  7. blesses our children
  8. comfort us
  9. revives us (Ps 119;25)
  10. keeps us humble
  11. makes us like the unshakable tree in Psalm 1 and Jeremiah 17:7-8 that is not bothered by storms, drought, or famine
  12. encourages us ( Ps 119:28)
  13. guides us (Ps 119:105)
  14. our source of help (Ps 119:114)
  15. gives understanding (ps 119:130)
  16. keeps us pure

You see, if reading the bible keeps you from turning to the right or the left, then not reading the bible causes you to fall to the right or left. If reading the bible keeps you from falling away, then not reading it makes you fall away. If reading the bible teaches you the fear of the Lord, then not reading the bible makes you forget the fear of the Lord. If not reading the bible keeps you from being prideful and thinking your better than others, than not reading the bible can cause a slip of pride into your heart – and you know what? That pride is the first to slip into the heart, others can see it when we ourselves can’t.

SO, if you are not reading the bible every day, there is a good chance that you have strayed, you have taken a wrong turn, have turned to the right or the left, are living in disobedience, made you own ways, become prideful or have fallen off the narrow path AND you don’t even realize it.  It’s clear that the only way we can stay on God’s path is to spend time daily in God’s word continually.

I’m not talking about a daily quick devotional, a feel good email or even watching a preacher on tv. All this is good, but nothing compares to the power of reading God’s word. Nothing can compare and nothing can take it’s place.

Just because a person shows up on Sundays, serves the church, reads daily devotions on facebook, has a church title, or maybe attends high hierarchy meetings – doesn’t mean they have stayed on God’s path or are on his path.  If you are in a position of teaching or leading in the church, it is of utmost importance that you are in God’s word daily. I have heard so many misleading, but well meaning, words come out of the mouths of many leaders. I was so disappointed to hear a recent speaker at a bible youth assembly talk fluff for a 3 day retreat and less than 2% of her hours of lecture mentioned the Lord. It’s obvious the speaker wasn’t reading the word of God daily because if she was, her speech would be overflowing with God’s truth relevant to her topic.

I’m preaching to myself here too, it’s easy to fall off the path of righteousness. As I’ve read the bible this week, I was amazed at the importance of reading the bible every day. This is a command most important to leaders, it’s what God wants and commands you to do. I need to read it continually in my day in order for me to really behave myself. As I studied Exodus last month, I was reminded how I shouldn’t complain – about anything. I’m reminded to watch my words, not gossip and to trust in God in all things. These are reminders I need daily. As I read through Deuteronomy last week, I was reminded of God’s promises and His commands to always put Him first  – to seek Him with all my heart, soul and mind, to commit myself to His words.

 You are commanded to teach your children morning, evening and throughout your day:

So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.  Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.  Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,  so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land theLord swore to give your ancestors. Deut 11:18-21

  • Teach them when you are at home
  • when you are on the road
  • when you are going to bed
  • when you are getting up

You may think teaching your children about God’s word all day  is difficult or impossible, BUT if you are in God’s word daily, you can talk about what you’ve learned or read. When I’m driving, I’ll share a scripture I read earlier that day. Sometimes, if I’m reading, I’ll stop and share something really cool I found in the bible. The other day we were discussing the Tower of Babel and in the car on our way somewhere we were talking about Esther.  If you are reading God’s word daily, talking to your children all day about God’s word will come naturally, it won’t be a chore or something too difficult for you.

 Hear the Word of the Lord:

Keep it with you always : He must always keep that copy with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the Lord his God by obeying all the terms of these instructions and decrees. Deut. 17:19

Study it: During the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from reading the word of the Lord, as revealed to Jeremiah the prophet, that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years. Daniel 9:2

Meditate on it day and night, study continuously  Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.  This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9

Be Determined: for the gracious hand of his God was on him. 10 This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel. Ezra 7:10

IT MAY BE PAINFUL, BUT HELPFUL: Keep this in mind: The Teacher was considered wise, and he taught the people everything he knew. He listened carefully to many proverbs, studying and classifying them.  The Teacher sought to find just the right words to express truths clearly11 The words of the wise are like cattle prods—painful but helpful. Their collected sayings are like a nail-studded stick with which a shepherd drives the sheep. ECCl 12 :5-11 (like the Sword of the Spirit piercing soul, spirit, joints, marrow- a discerner of our thoughts Heb 4:12)

And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. 10 Never forget the day when you stood before the Lord your God at Mount Sinai, where he told me, ‘Summon the people before me, and I will personally instruct them. Then they will learn to fear me as long as they live, and they will teach their children to fear me also.’ Deut 4;9-10

Okay, so you read the bible…. you want to become a disciple?

  1. You must lift up your cross and carry it :And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my discipleLuke 14:27
  2. Share what God has taught you with others :   Then he added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”Matthew 13:52
  3. You must give up all the world offers you, not seeking fame, fortune, materials or people’s praise :  So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own Luke 14:33
  4. You must become the least, humble like Moses, never exalting yourself   “Instead, take the lowest place at the foot of the table. Then when your host sees you, he will come and say, ‘Friend, we have a better place for you!’ Then you will be honored in front of all the other guests. 11 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”Luke 14:10-11
  5. Are you willing to pay the cost? A large crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them,  “If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple.  And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple. “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?  Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you.  They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’ “Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him?  And if he can’t, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away. So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.”
  6. Make more disciples, teach them and baptize them: Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20

 How can a young person stay pure?
By obeying your word. I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees I have recited aloud all the regulations you have given us. I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. I will study your commandments  and reflect on your ways. I will delight in your decrees    and not forget your word.Psalm 119 :12-16

If you think reading the bible is too difficult, start off small. It’s better to understand one verse than read 24 chapters a day without understanding. Some like to start with the book of John. When I first started, it seemed overwhelming so I would read psalms and proverbs when I first began. As you continue to read, God will give you more understanding. Don’t let anyone intimidate you making you feel  less because another has read the bible and you haven’t. The more I read the bible, the more I understand how little I know and how much more there is to learn. It’s never ending treasure and the Lord reveals the treasure to those who seek Him. He is no respecter of persons.

For there is no partiality with God….Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.  Romans 2:11 and Acts 10:34

and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen Matthew 28:20
