Beware of the Immoral Woman and the seductress Proverbs 2-8

BEWARE of Temptation, Don’t even ponder the thought. (Prov 5)  As a Christian, you are to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, you are not to follow the leading of your flesh. One leads to life and one leads to death.

Today, you must chose – life or death?

But I say to you that whoever looks  at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.  If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Matthew 5

(Take a look at your thought life- the books you read, the movies you see and the shows you watch – is it holy?  Be simple to what is evil and wise to what is good Rom 16:9)

Do not commit adultery (or allow yourself it to  enter your thoughts ) Exodus 20. Mat 5

  1. It destroys your soul
  2. Adultery fills you with dishonor
  3. Your reproach will never be wiped away
  4. It reduces you to a crust of bread
  5. brings fire to your bosom
  6. Makes you guilty
  7. Her house will lead you to death
  8. You will not regain your path
  9. It’s a trap to destroy you
  10. It’s a sin against your own body 1 Cor 6:18
  11. makes you deserving of death Romans 1
  12. you will have no place in the Kingdom of God 1 Cor 6:9-10
  13. It is a deep pit, a narrow well that lies in wait for it’s victims (Prov 23)
  14. war against your own soul 2 peter 2:11
  15. This sin will take over and rule you, reign over your body so you obey it’s sinful lusts Romans 6:12

In Proverbs 5.  God says ” Don’t do it” The Lord watches all your paths, He considers every action you take, He knows your thoughts from afar off. ” Don’t let iniquities trap you, don’t be caught in the cords of sin, without instruction you shall die and go astray”
I have seen people’s lives reduced to a crust of bread because they strayed and chose the wrong path. Teach your children the dangers of falling into temptation. Train your daughter to be holy and pure.

My son, pay attention to my wisdom;
Lend your ear to my understanding,
That you may preserve discretion,
And your lips may keep knowledge.
For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey,
And her mouth is smoother than oil;
But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
Sharp as a two-edged sword.
Her feet go down to death,
Her steps lay hold of hell.
Lest you ponder her path of life—
Her ways are unstable;
You do not know them.

Therefore hear me now, my children,
And do not depart from the words of my mouth.
Remove your way far from her,
And do not go near the door of her house,
Lest you give your honor to others,
And your years to the cruel one;
Lest aliens be filled with your wealth,
And your labors go to the house of a foreigner;
And you mourn at last,
When your flesh and your body are consumed,
And say:
“How I have hated instruction,
And my heart despised correction!
I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers,
Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!
I was on the verge of total ruin,
In the midst of the assembly and congregation.”

Drink water from your own cistern,
And running water from your own well.
Should your fountains be dispersed abroad,
Streams of water in the streets?
Let them be only your own,
And not for strangers with you.
 Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice with the wife of your youth.
As a loving deer and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
And always be enraptured with her love.
For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman,
And be embraced in the arms of a seductress?

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,
And He ponders all his paths.
His own iniquities entrap the wicked man,
And he is caught in the cords of his sin.
He shall die for lack of instruction,
And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. Proverbs 5

In 2013, I heard the Lord say:

You don’t realize that I am watching you. I am watching all of you. Your sinful deeds are all around you, and I, the Lord, see them all. You entertain each other with wickedness and lies and many of you are aflame with lust. Yet, as I watch and listen, not one of you cries out to me. You continue to mingle with godless foreigners and you made yourself as worthless as a half baked cake. Are you for me or do you long for the things of this world? Have they filled your heart so much that you no longer desire me? Haven’t you read the warnings? My people have become lukewarm.
Do you cowardly cringe when you say the name of my Son Jesus? If you deny Him, He will surely deny you before ME. What sorrow awaits those who desert ME. For I sent My only Beloved Son FOR YOU, Yet you consider it as nothing. My fury is about to be poured out like boiling water from an overturned pot. How much longer shall I call out to you?
My heart weeps for you. If you would only open your eyes and see how much I LOVE YOU. You seek me, but you don’t find me. You have looked everywhere but you your sins have weighed you down, you carry them around as ropes tied to you. When will you confess?- for I am an all forgiving God- and Savior. But you don’t admit your wrongs. Have you not heard that there is no sacrifice that will cover your deliberate continual sinning? You don’t cry out to me with sincere hearts.

Dear Lord, Keep me from presumptuous sins, let them not have dominion over me, then I shall be upright and I shall be innocent from great transgression. In Jesus name,Amen

HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD:

  • For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality;  that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,  not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God;  that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.  For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.  Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit. 1 thes 4:3-8
  •  Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.  Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Cor 6: 15-20
  • Do not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person. 1 Cor 5:10

Being a Christian takes effort on your part, Salvation and Grace are free, do you honor what’s been given to you?

Wow, I can feel the steam of anger rising up in many at this topic, but for the rest of you – beware! If you think you can believe in Jesus, go to church and live your own life according to your own desires you have been horribly misled. If you go to church and believe, but go home to live a secret life of anger, unforgiveness, malice, bitterness, lust, pornography, idolatry, adultery, drunkenness, strife, lying,  obscene talk and other sins, the bible says you will not inherit the kingdom of God. Let me put it plainly, those who live that way will end up in hell. He warns us in revelation of being lukewarm – they have no salvation.

Don’t let anyone tell you that as long as you believe in Jesus that you can go on living in sexual immorality and lust. Lust will lead you to hell. There is terrible sorrow ahead when you let sin rule your life. Read the scripture and stop listening to false teachers who don’t care about you or your salvation.

It’s true! Yes, there is nothing we can do to obtain His grace and Salvation – it is a free gift to us. However, we have to honor it, not abuse His grace. We must heed the warnings because many who have been told they are saved will find themselves weeping and gnashing their teeth on that great and terrible day. It’s like receiving an engagement ring. The bride to be didn’t have to do anything to deserve it, the groom to be gave it freely out of love. What happens if the bride runs off with other men during the courtship? What happens if the bride doesn’t honor the commitment? What happens if the bride really doesn’t love her fiancé? Will the marriage ever happen? Jesus said “If you love me, you will obey me” . Obedience takes effort. It takes knowing the scripture, knowing what the Lord has commanded us and taking the steps and the effort to walk in obedience.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God 1 Cor 6:9-10

“Let us” obey and hear the Word of the Lord

Below are scriptures that tell us that we must make an effort in our walk. When the scripture says – Let us – that means we must step out in obedience.  It takes an effort to stop in your busy day and pray, an effort to put time into studying His word and effort to teach our children. The Lord says “Be Holy, for I am Holy”. You may feel weak, but He is strong. Take the first step, get up and fight against the desires of your flesh, resist the devil and  don’t be a slave to sin. When you take the first step and each one thereafter, the Lord is there always to help you and strengthen you along the way as He is perfecting your faith. Here are a few:

Let us show ourselves approved in good works Titus 2:6-8

As a Christian, you are called to holiness. This may take a while, but you have to lay aside the sins that are tripping you. Understanding this is step one in the breakdown of the strongholds and captivity that many Christians are suffering with. Don’t let sin rule your life. Ask God to show you if there is anyway in you that needs to change. Read the Lord’s warning to the churches in Revelation 2-3. He is calling the churches out in love to repent, to change and avoid punishment and disaster. Rev 2-3

1- they had forgotten their first love, they needed to go back to that first love they had of the Lord
2- they held false teaching and put stumbling blocks before the people, they needed to repent and change their false ways
3- they taught seducing doctrine, teaching sexual immorality, they needed to quickly repent and turn
4- they were dead, they were told to strengthen what little remains, their works were not perfect before God
5- they were to continue to keep His word, to hold fast so no one would take their crown.
6- They were lukewarm and would be “spewed out” of his mouth if they didn’t change

Repent and call on Him: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:19-21

Run the Race to Win :  Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Everything in life takes effort. If you want to run a race, you have to train. If you want to learn, you must discipline yourself to study. If you want to be healthy, you have to tell yourself no to things that could harm you. Why is it okay for us to work so hard for everything in life, but when I tell you that you must work hard to be holy you want to kick and scream? It’s really not that difficult. If you love Him, you’ll want to obey Him. Freedom comes with obedience, why do you want to continue to be a slave to sin?

Let us look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:1

Let us stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6

We are not perfect yet, but the Lord is helping us get there. Don’t give up and don’t be a lazy lukewarm Christian.

Steps of Salvation from the THE BOOK OF ACTS:
1-BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST- FAITH
2-CONFESS YOUR SINS AND REPENT
3-TURN BACK TO GOD- He wants you to SEEK HIM – TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS
4-BE BAPTISED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST-WASHING AWAY YOUR SINS
5-PROVE IT BY THE WAY YOU LIVE
6-GET RID OF ALL SIN AND WICKEDNESS
7-WATCH OUT FOR FALSE TEACHERS AND WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING

Ugh! I’m so sick of lying teachers leading people to hell. No one tells the truth anymore!

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world

You don’t realize that I am watching you. I am watching all of you. Your sinful deeds are all around you, and I, the Lord, see them all. You entertain each other with wickedness and lies and many of you are aflame with lust. Yet, as I watch and listen, not one of you cries out to me. • Lust causes corruption in this world 1 Peter 4
  • Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. James 1:15

  • To desire what you don’t have is vexation of your spirit Eccl 6:9
  • Lust will crowd out the message of Christ and will make you unfruitful Mark 4:19
  • Those who chose do deny God are given up to their lusts God gave them up to their vile passions because they did not worship the creator and women exchanged their natural use Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. Romans 1
  • Lust can take over and control your life Romans 6:12
  • Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin, but instead give yourself completely to God. Don’t let sin be your master. Romans 6;12-15
  • Wake up! The day of Salvation is closer than it was when you first believed, so get rid of all sexual promiscuity and the dirty rags you have clothed yourself in, instead clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and don’t’ let yourself think about ways to indulge in evil desires. Romans 13;11-14

  •  Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. James 4:2

Take time to watch the above video- or go to minutes 53-103.

Hear the Word of the Lord:

  1. Ecclesiastes 6:9 The sight of the eye is better than to walk in the lusts: this also is vanity, and vexation of spirit. .-Enjoy what you have and don’t desire what you don’t have, that is like chasing the wind.
  2. Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her, hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. So if your eye, even your good eye, causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it wayay. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell
  3. Mark 4:19 But the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things enter in, and choke the word, and it is unfruitful.
  4. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do: he hath been a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, then speaketh he of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.
  5. Romans 1:18-32 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,  because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.  For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,  because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools,  and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,  who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.  Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;  being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,  backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;  who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
  6. Galatians 5:16-26 let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.  The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.  But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.
  7. Romans 6:12 Let not sin reign therefore in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof:
  8. 1 Timothy 6:9  But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.  For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows
  9. 2 Timothy 2:22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts Flee also from the lusts of youth, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with them that call on the Lord with pure heart,
  10. 2 Timothy 4:3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths for the time will come when they will not suffer wholesome doctrine: but having their ears itching, shall after their own lusts
  11. Titus 2:12  And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,And teacheth us, that we should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and that we should live soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world,
  12.  Titus 3:3 Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.  But—“When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love,  he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone. For we ourselves also were in times past unwise, disobedient, deceived, serving the lusts and divers pleasures, living in maliciousness and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
  13. James 1:15 13 And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.  Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.  These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
  14.  James 4:2 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. What do you think the Scriptures mean when they say that the spirit God has placed within us is filled with envy? But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say,“God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
  15. 1 Peter 2:11 Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. 12 Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world Dearly beloved, I beseech you, as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which fight against the soul,
  16. 1 Peter 4:3 For it is sufficient for us that we have spent the time past of the life, after the lust of the Gentiles walking in wantonness, lusts, drunkenness, in gluttony, drinkings, and in abominable idolatries. Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you.  But remember that they will have to face God, who will judge everyone, both the living and the dead. That is why the Good News was preached to those who are now dead—so although they were destined to die like all people, they now live forever with God in the Spirit
  17.  They commit adultery with their eyes, and their desire for sin is never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin, and they are well trained in greed. They live under God’s curse.  They have wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of Balaam son of Beor, who loved to earn money by doing wrong.  But Balaam was stopped from his mad course when his donkey rebuked him with a human voice. 2 Peter 2:15-20
  18.   Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.  And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.1 John 2:15-17
  19.   These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. Jude 1:16-18

This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is, time is running out.
Wake up!

|For our salvation is nearer now then when we first believed. The night is almost gone, the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealously. Instead clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and don’t’ let yourself think about ways to indulge in evil desires. Romans 13;11-14
