OBAMA’S ARRIVAL ON THE PERSIAN NEW YEAR 3-21-13 “NOWRUZ”

I wouldn’t normally be writing about this, but I had two dreams recently which lead me to

FIRST DREAM: I worked in a big retail store and we all were allowed to exercise  or dance as a break but somehow they snuck in a video and we all had to chant along with it and move with it. The song was called “Phoenix dreams” which meant “broken dreams“.  We had to sing that our dreams were broken but now we are flying like the phoenix. The song began by saying : because I’m dark… the singing – we had to pretend we were flying as we sang about how death of something or someone had now ruined our old dream – but we were flying now.

A phoenix depicted in a book of mythological creatures by is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.

Second dream:  It was a special sacred new year’s day celebration.  I was in a house with family and a window was recently broken, which was scary at the time because we didn’t know if we would be safe through the night. It was a special day – new year celebration- for a certain elite and powerful group who moved about in the dark. The day was holy, ritualistic and involved powerful leaders. It seemed that only a certain elite group of  powerful people were involved in the rituals.  In the dream they were a secret society called the Lucifierians and fear was upon all the people that were in their homes.  I was not sure if we would make it through the night or if one of us should stay awake all night and guard the house. A large staircase was just outside the house that the rulers were to stand on during the ritual.  As part of their new year ritual, all the prominent and powerful leaders stood on the stairs during the night. The new year was around this time of year or soon upcoming. They didn’t seem to hurt anyone, but their power struck fear in people.  As part of their new years celebration, that happened to be that night,  all the leaders would gather along the stairs leading upward. For some reason I was scared. Each leader stood on a different step from top to bottom.

WHAT I DISCOVERED:

I mentioned this to a friend- about my dream of a certain people having a new year celebration at this time of year (March) and she told me she had just heard about the Persian new year. I looked it up and found this picture on Wikipedia under Nowruz, the Iranian new year;

THE STAIRCASE OF NATIONS IN NOWRUZ
.- that’s what I saw in my dream. It is called the staircase of nations and it’s part of their new year Nowruz history that began with an ancient Persian prophet Zoraster from 548- about the time of the captivity of Israel and Judah.  The staircase symbolizes a future time when all the leaders of all the nations come together as one bringing gifts to their One leader, who they call the king of kings. Even today, the celebration consists of gift giving in remembrance of this.

THE DATE:
Then I looked up the date of Nowruz; aka-the Iranian, Persian New year :  MARCH 21, 2013 :The New Year starts at the moment of the Spring equinox, the exact moment when the sun passes over the equator.- isn’t that interesting???????? The same day our president is arriving in Israel- I wonder if they are going to present him with gifts like the ancient prophecy of the staircase of nations?

THE ORIGIN: –
Zarathushtra was the founding prophet (His name is spelled a few different ways). Then I looked up the origins of this new year celebration-it is from the Zoroastrian religion that dates back to 548BC – their symbol is a Phoenix bird coming out of the fire- it is said the phoenix dies or kills itself and miraculously comes back to life from it’s own ashes.

SYMBOLIC RITUAL

Then I saw another symbol/ritual in this new year- the Hajii Faruz  His meaning is similar to the Phoenix – Haji Faruz dies and come back to life on March 21, 2013.  He is also a form of entertainment to the children -laughing and giving out gifts, some call him the Persian Santa Claus. The Hajii Foruz – was a man they honor symbolizing an ancient prophet who dies and comes back to life on the new day- his face is painted black with soot. Some say his face is painted black to symbolize the holy fire he is surrounded by, others say it is because he came back from the place of the dead. (sounds like the book of revelation) He symbolizes the rebirth of the Sumerian god of sacrifice, Domuzi, who was killed at the end of each year and reborn at the beginning of the New Year.  His name translates to master of victory.  He enlists a few fellow comedians to make the world laugh-The temporary five-day king

Phoenix– burns itself and raises again in its ashes coming back to life– and this Haji from the Persian new year supposedly dies and raises up again on this new day Nowruz. -this reminds me of Revelation 13:14, 3 “And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life.”I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery—but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast.

Info from Wikipedia: On Nowruz, they give gifts to each other, in fact, it’s similar to Christmas. This is an ancient Iranian (Persian) festival that celebrates a new year.  The symbols indicate a future universal renovation of this world to be accomplished by the resurrection of righteous souls . Much of this holiday comes from the Zoroastrian religion. Countries that celebrate this are Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Kashmir, Azerbaijan,  Turkey, Iraq, Armenia, Syria and Georgia – and now parts of the US -California : Pasadena, Los Angeles (and probably more). US celebration times are :
4:02 am Pacific Daylight Time
5:02 am Mountain Daylight Time
6:02 am Central Daylight Time
7:02 am Eastern Daylight Time

DID YOU KNOW THIS IS A UN recognized HOLY DAY?

The UN’s General Assembly in 2010 recognized March 21 as the International Day of Nowruz, describing it a spring festival of Persian origin which has been celebrated for over 3,000 years and calling on world countries to draw on the holiday’s rich history to promote peace and goodwill. During the meeting of The Inter-governmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage of the United Nations, held between 28 September – 2 October 2009 in Abu Dhabi, Nowrūz was officially registered on the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In response to the UN recognition, Iran unveiled a postage stamp. The stamp was made public in the presence of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during the first International Nowruz Celebrations in Tehran on Saturday, 27 March 2010. President Ahmadinejad also called for joint efforts to further acquaint the world about the meaningful holiday, adding that it could significantly promote global peace and justice: “Observing Nowruz will not only promote cultural values, but it will also help nations establish relations based on friendship, peace, justice and respect.”
